AUSTRALIA’S FIRST C208B EX FULL MOTION FLIGHT SIMULATOR
Conveniently located at a purpose-built training facility within a 10-minute drive of Brisbane International Airport (Queensland, Australia)
Give Your Pilots The Ultimate Foundational Training
Simcheck offers a seamless pilot training experience for domestic and international pilots.
All C208 systems and procedures are modelled to the highest level of fidelity. Backed with the expertise of our instructors who have extensive C208 experience, the initial training program will provide the very best foundational pilot training.
All of the initial C208 training can be conducted on the Full Motion Flight Simulator (FFS), including all emergency and non-normal malfunctions including hot/hung starts, electrical failures and engine failures in all phases of flight. This means maximum exposure to all scenarios and minimum exposure to risk for your trainees. The C208 FFS will accurately replicate the C208 in all normal and non-normal flight profiles, thanks to the extensive aerodynamic data collection and modelling conducted by the C208 FFS manufacturer.

“CASA strongly recommends operators publish guidance in their expositions to pilots regarding recognising these events, plus possible corrective actions and decision-making guidelines for such occurrences.”
ATSB Safety Advisory Notice to operators of single-engine PT6A powered aircraft
“AO-2024-001-SAN-001: In the absence of a flight manual procedure and with limited industry awareness, the ATSB encourages operators of single-engine PT6A powered aircraft to consider potential responses to an uncommanded engine acceleration event for different phases of flight, and to document and train pilots on appropriate actions to ensure operations are performed correctly and consistently.”

“When SimCheck came to us with the idea of a C208 Level D Full Motion Flight Simulator some years ago we felt it had great potential to improve and enhance our training and checking program by being able to expose pilots to situations in the simulator that we can’t safely replicate in the aircraft. Our Chief Pilot and Head of Training and Checking was involved in the factory acceptance of the unit in Florida earlier this year. He was very impressed how well the simulator replicates the real aircraft and what an amazing training device it is. We are looking forward to having such an advanced and modern training device for our future use here with our flight crew.”
